VideoArt works without an account. We don’t ask for your name, email, or phone
number, and we don’t have them.
What we store
- A random device identifier generated on first launch. It is how the
app recognises the same device across launches. It is not your Apple ID
and is not the device’s advertising identifier.
- Your descriptions and settings for each generation.
- Your generated work — the images and video the models produce.
- Images you upload as references.
- Your IP address at registration, stored next to the device
identifier so we can limit how many devices register from one address.
These rows are deleted automatically after three days.
- A push notification token, if you allow notifications.
- Purchase events from Apple, via Adapty, to keep your credit balance
correct.
- Crash reports — if the app crashes, freezes, or hits an error we
need to fix: the app version, device model, iOS version, language and
time zone, what the app was doing, and the device identifier (or, before
the app has loaded it, a random identifier the crash reporter creates on
install). They contain no descriptions, images, or video.
We do not use advertising SDKs, we do not track you across other apps or
websites, and we do not sell data.
Who else sees it
- kie.ai — the aggregator that runs the AI models. Your description
and any reference image are sent there to produce the result. They are
subject to their own terms and to the terms of the model provider behind
each model (Google, ByteDance, Kuaishou, Alibaba, Black Forest Labs,
OpenAI, xAI, MiniMax, PixVerse and others).
- Adapty — purchases and the credit wallet. It receives the device
identifier and purchase events, not your work.
- Apple — payments. We never see your payment details.
- Sentry — crash reports. It receives the device identifier and the
diagnostic data above, not your work.
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage, and the database.
How long we keep it
Your images and video stay until you delete them or delete your account.
Deleting a single work erases its files from storage immediately.
The record of the generation itself — which model ran, what it cost, and the
description you gave it — stays until you delete your account, even after the
files are gone. We keep it to reconcile what we were charged and to act on
reports. Deleting your account removes all of it.
Crash reports are kept by Sentry for up to 90 days, including after you
delete your account; after that they are deleted automatically.
Registration rows are deleted after three days regardless. What survives
account deletion is only the credit ledger and the record of purchase events,
and in both the device identifier is replaced with a placeholder: they are kept
so payments reconcile and duplicate purchase notifications are not counted
twice, and they no longer point at anyone.
Your choices
- Delete one work — open it and choose Delete. The file is removed
from storage.
- Delete everything — Profile → Delete account. This removes your
device record, all your work, uploaded references, and push tokens. It
cannot be undone, and it does not cancel an Apple subscription.
- Notifications and photo access — both are optional and can be
turned off in iOS Settings. Photo access is only used when you pick a
reference or save your work.
Children
VideoArt is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect data from them.
Where data is processed
Our servers and storage run on Cloudflare’s global network, and model
providers operate internationally. Using the app means your content may be
processed outside your country.
Changes
We’ll update this page if what we collect changes, and note the date above.
